The UGA Athens campus boasts four LEED GOLD-certified buildings, and four others pending certification, representing
920,000 sq. ft. of efficient, environmental design. The Terry College Business Learning Community, currently under
construction and scheduled to open in May 2015, is designed to encourage collaboration and innovation while serving
as a model for economic sustainability, consuming fewer natural resources and enhancing local economies by
prioritizing local, regional and recycled materials. The new Bolton Dining Commons, opened in August 2014, promotes
community and sustainability using state of the art equipment and building systems to reduce water, energy and waste.
