2014 Sustainability Science Symposium and Workshop

The 2014 Sustainability Science Symposium strengthened research efforts at UGA. As the challenges of sustainability
ascend to the top of research priorities in a wide array of disciplines, in the missions of universities and in major research
funding agencies, the Center for Integrative Conservation Research (CICR), the Office of the Vice President for Research
(OVPR) and several other campus partners collaborated to showcase over 40 interdisciplinary sustainability research
initiatives emerging and ongoing at UGA. Over 150 faculty, staff and students participated in the one-day event.
