Additional Study Options
The Study Abroad Program at JCU offers you the opportunity to study on campus in Australia or Singapore for one or two semesters and receive credit for your studies at your home institution.
The JCU Study Abroad Program
The JCU Study Abroad program enables students who are enrolled at an institution in their home country to study at JCU for one or two teaching periods (semesters), earning credits towards their degree at their home institution. One of the defining features of studying at JCU is the access to some of the world’s most beautiful regions, with many subjects offering the chance to gain hands on experience through our extensive fieldwork options. As a study abroad student you may wish to take all of your subjects in your major, or you may decide to take subjects across a range of study areas. Hundreds of subjects are on offer for you to choose from, including areas as diverse as coral reef ecology, rainforest science, Indigenous Australian studies, digital media arts and sport and exercise science. Visit www.jcu.edu.au/international/ studyabroad for further details.
Credit for Previous Studies
In addition to the James Cook University Pathway College JCU have flexible advanced standing arrangements with other universities and vocational education providers around the world. If you have completed a degree, diploma or university subjects, you may be entitled to advanced standing. For further information on possible credit for previous studies connect to JCU’s Advanced Standing Assessor which details our advanced standing arrangements. www.jcu.edu.au/international
