Calculation of scores and additional requirements
A LEVELS: (GCE, Cambridge, Hong Kong). The scores are calculated such as: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1, and must include results in not more than three subjects. Advanced Supplementary Levels (AS are the equivalent of half a subject at A Level: A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5.) Forecast or preliminary A Level results will be considered, for all programs. A LEVELS (SINGAPORE): The AL (H2) scores are calculated in not more than three subjects such as: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1 with minimum two H2 level subjects. AL (H1) subjects are the equivalent of half a subject. AL (H3) are advanced subjects and calculated as Distinction=6, Merit=5, Pass=4 and can be included in the calculation of not more than three subjects. CANADA: Based on the average of the best 6 Ontario (OSSD or OAC) subjects as a %. Hong Kong (HKDSE): Satisfactory Completion of HKDSE - Aggregate score range between 16 points to 25 points depending on course based on the best 5 subjects selected from 4 core subjects (Chinese, English, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) plus 2 electives: ? Category A: 5**=6, 5*=5.5, 5=5, 4=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1 ? Category B: Attained with Distinction=3, Attained=2 ? Category C: A=2.5, B=2.0, C=1.5, D=1.0, E=0.5 INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB): Aggregate of full Diploma where 7=excellent, 6=very good, 5=good, 4=satisfactory, 3=mediocre, 2=poor, 1=very poor. INDIA: Scores calculated on a percentage of the best 4 academic subjects in either the All Indian School Boards or State Boards.
