Conclusions
This region , which flourished during the communist era due to its inability to be collectivized for agriculture , has evolved into an area with significant tourism potential , attracting various types of tourists , including those interested in experiencing Romanian mountain village life and the legendary Dracula lore . Key findings from the study include :
- Tourist Favorability : A majority of respondents ( 86.59 %) considered the Moieciu area favorable for rural tourism , because of the gastronomic products , natural landscapes , peace , distancing opportunities , and local traditions / crafts .
- Satisfaction and Expectations : Tourists expressed a high degree of satisfaction with accommodation ( 63.51 %) and food ( 77.15 %) in the area .
