Located in one of the most unique areas because of its orography of the municipality of
Málaga, the house is strictly defined by the southwest orientation and the steep slope of the
site.
It is an obsession from the first project beginnings to make a correct passive air conditioning,
for which different strategies are created. The fundamental one is to take advantage of the
section, the excavation carried out, to create a buried patio in the north, a bag of cold air
that will cause a convection with the cold air generated and will be distributed throughout
the rest of the house. Other actions such as the use of canopies or 'brise soleil', or the use of
outdoor spaces under shaded bodies generating shaded areas, contribute to the
improvement of the conditions of regulation of the interior temperature. From its height,
and in the distance, looking almost nostalgically at the sea, at the docks of the port, the
house becomes a boat ready at any moment to be launched, ready for us to cross the
wooden walkway and wait for the departure from its emerging bow, ready to set sail.
