RACE NUMBERS
The two race numbers that you collect at the Expo must be worn at all times, and without alteration, on the front and back of your running vest, T-shirt or crop top. Race numbers may not be attached to your running shorts.
Licensed athletes do not need to wear their provincial / ASA licence numbers as special TTOM race numbers will be issued. If you are running with a hydration pack, please pin your back number to the hydration pack so that it is visible at all times. Unlicensed( temp) runners must run in plain colours, with no advertising on their vest or T-shirts, or the official TTOM 2025 race T-shirt.
RACE NUMBER COLLECTION AND RULES
Race number collection will take place at the Two Oceans Marathon Expo: For a hassle-free process, please bring the following with you:
• Confirmation of your entry via email or SMS.
• Proof of identification, e. g. ID, passport or driver’ s licence.
REFRESHMENT STATIONS
Hydration is key to your race-day success! With six refreshment stations on the Half Marathon route and 16 on the Ultra, we’ ve got your hydration needs covered. Look out for water, Coke and Powerade – each clearly marked in colour-coded cups. Pro tip: Stay hydrated, but don’ t overdo it. Drink when thirsty, and let your training guide you to the finish line.
You should drink approximately 100ml of fluid when thirsty. It may therefore not be necessary to drink at every station, as the dangers of being over-hydrated can be as severe as that of dehydration. Modify your fluid intake to suit weather conditions on the day, and do not experiment with new drinks on race day.
Toilet facilities will be provided at every refreshment station and are usually located just after the station. Please use the toilets provided – do not use private gardens or public areas.
