SEEDING AT THE START
For TTOM 2025 you will start in batches of 1 100 runners at two-minute intervals apart in the Ultra Marathon.
In the Half Marathon, you will start in batches of 1 100 runners at threeminute intervals apart.
Your qualifying time was used to place you in a batch appropriate to your speed. You have been seeded accordingly and assigned to your start batch. The entire fields in both the Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon are seeded with an alphabetical letter as part of their race number, and this letter will correspond to the pens at the start.
Please note that you may start in a seeding group behind yours, but not in one ahead.‘ Jumping’ a batch may lead to disqualification and / or a future ban from TOM events.
SPECTATOR SPOTS
Spectators will once again be allowed at the start and finish areas. They can also cheer on family and friends along the route. Recommended spectator spots can be found on www. twooceansmarathon. org. za. Strictly no parking will be allowed along the M3.
All the applicable shuttle and parking maps, as well as road closures are available on our website, www. twooceansmarathon. org. za. Please familiarise yourself with this important info. Share the road closures with friends and family who don’ t know about them.
