MEDAL ENGRAVING
Booked and paid for medal engraving? Your medal will be engraved at the designated area at the finish. Details of how to have your medal engraved if you’ ve not paid for it upfront will be emailed directly to each TTOM 2025 entrant.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY NUMBER
Please note that the official medical emergency telephone number for race weekend is 021 300 1286. Please write down or memorise this number, and save it your phone, in case of a medical emergency during the race.
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
Ensure that your medical information linked to your profile is up to date. Should you require hospital treatment or ambulance transport, this information could prove vital, notably if you have any allergies or existing conditions, and you will be charged according to current hospital tariff rates. Information relating to runners who have been admitted to the
Medical Tent will be available at the Information Tent at the finish.
MEDICAL AND PHYSIO STATIONS
A team of medical professionals, physiotherapists and first aiders will be stationed at clearly marked medical stations along the route.
MEETING PLACE AT MIDDLE CAMPUS
Ensure you arrange a specific meeting place to meet your supporters and club mates at middle campus at the Gazebo area. Gazebos are located on middle campus, and bookings were via the Race Admin Entry System. Please check with your club where your club gazebo is situated, if applicable.
MUSIC
A number of vibe spots, cheer zones and activations will be set up at various points along the route to help you Conquer the Current. Feel free to dance or sing along! Please note though that any excessively loud music played in backpacks, through music players or car radios by either participants or supporters, needs to be moderated in compliance with the City of Cape Town bylaws.
MISUSE OF RACE NUMBERS AND TIMING CHIPS
Runners may not transfer their race numbers and / or timing chips to other runners. Any runner who is found guilty of breaking this rule will be banned from the race for at least two( 2) years, in addition to being disqualified from the current year( TTOM 2025). This is an important safety measure and in the interests of your safety!
PARKING
Parking at UCT and near

Pis for... the start is very limited, so you are urged to share lifts to the race and get dropped off within walking distance of the start. If parking, you will only be able to park at UCT if you have a pre-paid parking ticket, which will be placed in your race pack. Dedicated race day parking areas have been organised at several schools near the start( see the maps). No parking is allowed on the M3, and
