describes the many negative effects; such unemployment, and unemployment due to worker automation (2014). Based on our literature review the research displays how society's reliance on technology results in more detrimental than beneficial.

CONCLUSIONS:

Although technology has proved beneficial to some by making tasks easier and providing several resourceful ways of life, the health hindrances and problems caused by technology make it a harm to society.

Research also displays that having technology is actually connecting society, conserving energy, and saving lives, but society is also over relying on the technology they use on a daily basis. Which causes individuals and society as a whole to be effected negatively with out being aware.

DISCUSSION:

This research project focuses on the negative impact technology on society. Technology is constantly evolving due to consumer demands and “it is [a] self-evolution”(Wu, 2014) made from people who seek comfort and to make their lives easier. Few people are familiar with the consequences of the use of technology and the “important issues regarding the direction of technological progress” (Klein, 2012). This project aims to predict the outcome of the effects of using technology; such as depression, health problems, isolation, and lack miscommunication. Several solutions to over-reliance include, limitations on high tech objects, getting involved with the outside world; being more active, and most notably revealing the consequences of an individual’s technology use.
