The curriculum is designed using a thematic approach with
specific topics that are selected to equip our students with
the skills and knowledge needed in everyday life - for
example ‘Our changing world’ has associated topic lessons
of ‘About the weather’. Another theme is ‘The World beyond
us’ with associated topic based lessons of ‘About the
Planets’.
Personal, Social, Health & Economics
Our regular PSHE lessons develop students skills and
attributes such as resilience, self-esteem, risk-management,
team work and critical thinking in the context of learning
through three core themes: health and wellbeing,
relationships and living in the wider world.
