INTERNATIONAL VS LOCAL CONTEXT
International vs Local
We ensure wherever possible, teaching topics are related
to our schools locality. For example History and
Geography lessons relating to Cambodia and Arts/Crafts/
Music related to local craftsmanship.
Our program aims to acknowledge the context in which
our students learn in and draw on their personal
experiences, cultural backgrounds and identities.
We also offer daily Khmer Language, Literacy and Culture
lessons for our Primary students.
ASSESSMENT AND DIFFERENTIATION
Our assessment process determines where your child is on their
learning journey and allows us to set specific goals for your child's
individual development.
We provide end of Term & Year Reports and hold regular Parent-
Teacher meetings. For Primary students a standard UK Phonics
Screening test is used to ensure our students have mastered the
required letters and sounds. We also use the UK Standard Assessment
Tests (SAT) at the end of Year 1 to 6.
Our commitment to differentiation means that individual learning
tasks are modified when required to meet the individual needs of
every student.
