Report Information

The scope of this report is Fiscal Years 2015 and 2016, covering July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2016. We intend to report on an annual basis in the future. Our most recent report was published in Dec. 2014.
This report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: core option. We have chosen not to externally assure this report, but may elect to do so in future years.
We choose‘ operational control’ as the emissions consolidation approach using World Resources Institute and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development Greenhouse Gas Protocol Initiative-A Corporate Accounting and Reporting standard( Revised Edition, 2004) as guidance.
For estimating our fleet vehicle emissions, TRC uses the mileage tracked for each vehicle in conjunction with standard emission factors provided by FuelEconomy. gov, which is maintained by the U. S. Department of Energy’ s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable energy, with data provided by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. This data takes into account each vehicle’ s make, model and production year.
Restatements or significant changes from our prior report are addressed in their respective areas of the report and include the following:
General > > The methodology for energy usage and emissions has been updated based on better data.
> > Acquisitions are incorporated into our environmental footprint metrics one year later. Footprint metrics from the Willbros Professional Services acquisition will be incorporated into the FY17 reporting year.
