and as we rode it was quite pleasant as the sun began to reach for the mountain tops , casting long shadows and warm colours across the landscape .
Shrines adorned the roadsides , many could be seen hidden amongst the forested hill tops , the picture was surreal and suggested we were entering somewhere special . This is predominantly Hindu lands ,
