Don't excpect to much of border crossings! Borders can be really fun when you can celebrate them, but the EU has made that virtually imposible. Not only do they trade easily with eachother or whatever it is, all use the euro, and have their own TLD (.eu), but they also seem to have clumped themselves into one big country. There are definatly no toll booths or customs. Denmark and Germany had a sign that said welkom op Bundes republic op Deutchland but when crossing from Holland into Belgium, there was no sign. there was a gate in the middle of the trail and we just biked around it, not even knowing we crossed into Belgium until dad consulted the map!

Camp in Mini campsites! Camping is awesome when it's not raining up a, well, storm! We've not had to put up the tent in the rain yet, but due to the fact that we're moving into an area of Europe where the rain keeps abnoxiousely insisting on squeeing every last drop of perperation it can ontop of the Family Brooks (!), I fear that day is not to far away. Camp in mini campsite for a more,uh, traditional experience!!!!!

Camp in Mini campsites! I just have to continue with this one. We were staying in a mini campsite. How can you tell if it's a mini campsite? If it has cats that love to come and sit in you food or climb in between your tent and the tent's fly. If there is a goat nibbling on the reception buildings hedge in the morning or if you have to pay to wash the dishes. If any of those things occured (they all happend to us), in your campsite of less them 15 campsites, then you know your min camping in Holland. Unless of course, you're not in Holland!
