Ask yourself if your resistance is because your current condition is so awesome you can’t stand to be away from work, or is it because you are feeling afraid that things will collapse without you? If it’s the former, go ahead and do what you are doing, but most people seem to be a victim of the latter. Be In the Moment Imagine yourself taking a walk. If you are perpetually looking over your shoulder at where you have been, you are going to trip over what is right under your feet. Similarly, if you are looking at the horizon, you are going to fall straight into a ditch. However, when you look around your immediate area, you will be able to stay on your feet and you will notice all sorts of amazing things around you. You’ll be able to watch for danger, but more than that, you will see the pleasure in what you are doing. Don’t let past mistakes or fear take away from the fact that you are doing the job that you have always wanted to do in an exciting time. Get Out of Town Part of being a real estate agent means that you know your town like the back of your hand. In fact, it’s why you have customers...because you know the town! However, this familiarity can become a little tiresome if you have nothing to compare. Wh
