There are key points in the ear to help wake you up, help go to sleep, stimulate or sedate the appetite. There is a point for balance or centering, called the Zero point, when any kind of balance is needed. I particularly like to use in yoga class for those days when balance poses are on the teetering side. There are points for every system of the body, emotion and stress points and even a point known as the wonderful point to help with optimism, happiness, and well-being. There are also points designated to connect with your highest wisdom and intuition.
