Journey to Excellence
" JTE " is the BSA ' s performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure the performance of our units. It is meant to encourage excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of BSA accomplished through continuous improvement.
January is the best time to review your JTE score and evaluate how to improve in 2017. The Commissioner Corps is ready to help you create a Unit Service Plan for the year.
Recharter

Commissioner Corner

We have a few units that haven’ t turned in their charters. There are many consequences to not being current including youth not being able to advance and receive recognition. Please contact your Commissioner for help.
Service Area Commissioners
With the recent change in Council structure, we have moved to Service Area Commissioners. These great volunteers will function exactly like District Commissioners only with a new title. Contact them if your unit needs help.

Lion Program

Cub Scouting’ s pilot program for kindergarten-age boys is having great success again.
Lion kindergartners make friends, laugh loud, gain confidence, discover nature, and most of all … have fun! They experience the Scouting concepts of character development, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through engaging and exciting adventures!
This family-oriented program will allow youth to have a blast exploring the world around him in ways that fuel his imagination and creativity.
If your pack doesn’ t have a Lion program, contact District Executive Greg Pistner today.
