You’ ve heard, probably many times, the saying:“ every Scout deserves a trained leader.” But what about the leaders? What do they deserve?
The same thing! Leaders deserve to be trained in the proper methods of Scouting with all the tools that are available. Leaders will feel more confident in their role and, naturally, be more successful.
That’ s why your Council Training committee is offering on-demand training. We will come to you and train your leaders when and where you need it. All we ask is enough time to plan and a commitment to getting 100 % of your leaders fully trained.
If you’ ve already attended training in the past, please consider attending again. Scouting is evolving. Sometimes rapidly. Our youth are changing. All the time too quickly. BSA updates their training to stay abreast of internal and external changes.
If you enjoy giving back and sharing your knowledge with others, consider becoming and instructor.
