Meeting with graduates of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management
This meeting started with the welcoming words of Yasmira Mercado De Horta, coordinator of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Then, the coordinator of Unicolombo projection department , Patricia Angarita, talked about the benefits that the institution offers to its graduates.
Subsecuently, the Unicolombo folkloric dance group performed a special show, and after that, Professor Wilson Guacarí talked about the accreditation process for the academic program.
Then, the coordinator Yasmira Mercado lead the workshop Laboral Experience Feedback, a space in which the invited shared their experience in Tourism sector and gave some recommendations to improve the quality of the program.
The coordinator also talked about the free courses that will be offered to the graduate:
•Excel - 20 hours.
•The Art of Service in a Globalized Context - 12 hours.
•Applied Finance in Tourism Sector – 15 hours.
Finally, the graduate Carlos Pertuz had a space to present his first fiction book titled: Contra viento y marea. Carlos explained how a hobby became a product. The book is being selling on internet, in sites like Amazon, Casa del libro, etc.
This event took place in Cuatro Vientos Auditorium, it started at 6:30 p.m. and finished at 8:00 p.m. The graduate really enjoyed coming back to their institution.
