Last septiember 24th, at 8:00 a.m., in the room Rey, Centro de Formación de la Cooperación Española., SENA celebrated the World Tourism Day.
The coordinator of the bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Yasmira Mercado De Horta, was one of the invited to this celebration. She offered a lecture about the new tourist profiles and the hight technologies in hospitality industry.
Ms. Mercado talked about the Baby Boomers, X, Y y Centenials generations, referring to the different preferences. of travelers. She also socialized the figures related to tourist arrivals in Bolivar department and Colombia.
She finally said that the most representative activities in this industry are: sustainable tourism and intelligent tourism.
