RACE INFO
RACE DAY PARKING
1 . We strongly encourage runners to make use of car-pooling or public transport , e . g . Uber or other drop & go services , to get to the race venue , if possible .
2 . There is secure parking at Suncoast Casino Parking Area , and parking tickets will be available at no cost if you enter the parking area before 08h00 This parking is only accessible from the south side of the casino , from Sandile Thusi and Sylvester Ntuli Road , or the beachfront parade from Pirates Lifesaving side .
3 . Free street parking is available in Snell Parade along the beachfront .
4 . Please do not park illegally or in front of residential properties ; vehicles will be towed away .
5 . Time your arrival to ensure that you are well in advance of your allocated batch start time .
6 . Please note that parking is on a first come , first served basis , and all vehicles are parked at own risk .
7 . Do not leave valuables in your vehicle .
START PROCEDURE
1 . Start : Snell Parade , to the north of the race venue at Suncoast Casino .
2 . Race Start Times :
• 10km – 08:00
• 5km – 08:20
3 . Please note that batched starts will be applicable for both the 10km and 5km . Batches will be indicated on your race number with the letter A , B , C or D .
4 . Please make your way to the respective 10km or 5km batch , marked according to the colour of your race number : White for the 10km and pink for the 5km . Please arrive at the start early , to avoid any last-minute rush .
5 . Nike , the official Technical Shoe Partner of the event , will be presenting a warm-up for all runners in the start chute prior to the start of the race .
6 . Once the 10km runners have left the start line , the 5km runners will be allowed to move forward to the start line .
7 . Toilets will be available at the Race Venue at Suncoast , close to the start .
