BLUE NUMBER AND YELLOW NUMBER HOLDERS

A Blue( Permanent) Number is awarded to any runner who has completed 10 Ultra or Half Marathons, or who has achieved a gold medal in the Ultra Marathon five times; or who has won the Ultra Marathon, Half Marathon three times. Runners on nine medals in either distance are allocated a Yellow Number to denote that they are aiming for their Blue Number in that year’ s race.
The Blue Number Club( BNC) was founded to celebrate the achievements of these runners, and there is a special BNC area at the registration area as well as at the finish( subject to any restrictions) on race day, where BNC members can meet, socialise and encourage each other, both before and after the race.
Both the TTOM Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon have a guaranteed entry pool for Blue and Yellow Number holders. Therefore, if you’ re a Blue or Yellow number holder, you receive priority entry status, with applications opening prior to entries opening for the general public. We will email you your entry link, along with all the other information you may need, and you will be invited to apply on a first come, first served basis separate from the applications for entries through the balloting / draw system.
However, if the entry limit for Blue and Yellow Numbers is reached before the closing date to get into the draws, Blue and Yellow number holders who did not secure a guaranteed entry will automatically go into Ultra Marathon Draw 1( in which Ultra Marathon runners with seven or more medals will stand a higher chance of being selected for an entry) and Half Marathon Draw 1( in which ASA club members will stand a higher chance of being selected for an entry).
To summarise the entry process if you’ re a Blue Number Club Member or Yellow Number Holder:
• If you’ re a Blue or Yellow Number holder, you receive priority entry status.
• Entries will open for you before the time.
