CIS FOR
CHARITY ENTRIES AND BENEFICIARIES
Limited charity entries for the Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon were made available to the public , while runners were also encouraged to make a donation to the Two Oceans Marathon Initiative ( TOMI ).
CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY
All 2023 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon athletes would have received a final entry confirmation via email and / or SMS . Entries can also be confirmed by logging in to your profile on the Race Admin Entry system where you entered . The race confirmation message together with your ID document count as valid identification methods to collect your race number .
CLUB KIT
All South African runners should wear the official clothing of their athletics club for the Ultra Marathon . If you are entered as a club member in the Half Marathon , club kit must be worn to qualify for team prizes . Your race day kit must also comply with the relevant advertising rules . Remember that your 2023 TTOM race numbers must be worn unaltered throughout the race on the front and back of your running vest and not on your running shorts .
CONTINGENCY PLANS
Contingency plans are in place to re-route any race in the event of a natural or other disaster ( e . g . fire on Chapman ’ s Peak ), and we work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth emergency transition . A detailed operational plan is in place for extreme cases where the race needs to be abandoned , and all affected parties ( runners , suppliers , sponsors , etc ) will receive communications via SMS and on social media .
EIS FOR
EARPHONES
iPods , MP3 players or music devices of any sort with earphones or headphones are not allowed , as these are a safety hazard and hinder your interaction with runners , race officials and marshals . Running with these items could result in disqualification , and you will be disqualified if you fail to listen to a marshal or traffic official as a result of wearing earphones .

The emergency number for Race Weekend ( 15 and 16 April ) is 021 300 1286 .
EXPO
The Two Oceans Marathon Expo is the largest running-related expo in the Western Cape and takes place at the CTICC in Cape Town . As the official race number collection point for the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon , this expo attracts up to 50 000 visitors and more , over the three days . Over the years , it has become much more than just a running expo , and now includes top sporting brands , apparel , supplements , outdoor adventure sports and sporting tours , to name just a few .
The 2023 Expo will take place at the CTICC1 , Convention Square , 1 Lower Long Street , Cape Town and will be open during the following hours :
• Thursday , 13 April : 10am to 7pm
• Friday , 14 April : 10am to 7pm
• Saturday , 15 April : 9am to 3pm ( The expo is open to all , but only Half Marathon runners may collect their race number ). Doors close at 2.30pm sharp .
