GREEN INITIATIVES
The Two Oceans Marathon NPC is committed to environmentally conscious running behaviour , including but not limited to reduced water consumption , stringent waste management and upcycling . For the second year running , the event will be completely sachet-free in a bid to eliminate plastic waste from the route , so all hydration will be served in paper cups . Furthermore , our waste management plan offers a sustainable way to collect and process the nonorganic waste generated during race week .
