Every convention, the NJCL Officers award a convention packet award, also called the registration award, to a single delegate. The awardee will hence get a free registration to that national convention. Each applicant submitted an essay and adult recommendations.
Your 2023-2024 NJCL Officers reviewed these materials as well as JCL participation and awarded this year’s well-deserved Convention Packet Award to Selima Aousheva from Walnut Hills High School, Ohio.
In an effort to increase representation at and access to the National Junior Classical League Convention, the NJCL awards this packet to a student from a group that has been historically underrepresented in or underserved by the field of Classics. The awardee will recieve free registration to that National Convention.
Your 2023-2024 NJCL Officers reviewed these applications and awarded this year’s well-deserved Representation and Access Packet Award to Fanga Rajan from Houston High School, Tennessee.
