At Miami University, I was amazed at the amount of people gathered together for something they are so passionate about that they were willing to lose their voice for it. Since then I knew I wanted to give back to this organization that opened so many doors for me. Never did I think I would be attending a virtual convention, but I formed amazing memories and met some of my best friends. It has been a wild ride since taking office from our board bonding game nights to the fall planning meeting. I started off my term creating a Buzzfeed quiz for others to see which NJCL officer they are most similar to. I have met with our amazing constitutional advisor Mr. Compton to discuss changes to the executive board duties and election guidelines document. I held my first meeting with state parliamentarians and started working on a guide for state and local parliamentarians. I am also working to release officer vlogs in order to gain more insight on the lives of our NJCL officers!
