Carissimi Amici,
I hope end of year testing you has been treating you well! As we wrap up the school year and enter into our summer months, I could not be more excited to invite you to national convention — online, and in person in Louisiana! Registration ends June 1st, so be sure to get it in! If you have any questions, please reach out to me at [email protected].
Okay…convention commercial over. Besides being hard at work preparing for our national convention, my primary goal has been continuing work with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees for both the JCL and ACL. For the next three weeks, I will have no school for Senior Experience — during which I will have many, many hours to pursue these initiatives and more! I’m so excited for all that’s to come, and I hope you are too.

Salvete omnes!
The weather here in Boston has been suspiciously pleasant for the past few days, and I remain hopeful that it will stay that way.
The past few months have been jam-packed with fun-filled work; I met with officers from new chapters to brainstorm membership growth strategies, hosted another publicity workshop (which revolved around recruiting middle school students for both JCL and classics electives), and worked collaboratively with other officers to plan out this year’s NJCL convention packet award. Other tasks have ranged from posting materials to the NJCL social media and meeting with board officers and committee members to work on projects collaboratively.
I am excited to see everyone at national convention this summer! Please feel free to reach out to me with any suggestions or questions :)
