Salvete, Omnes! I could not be more thrilled to serve as your 2019-2020 Communications Coordinator, especially alongside such an amazing NJCL Board. We had a great time at Fall Planning Meeting in Richmond organizing the 2020 national convention and getting to know each other. After touring the beautiful campus and getting a feel for what’s in store, we can’t wait for this summer.

At FPM, I took notes on the campus, timing, and agenda, as well as minutes during our officers’ meeting. Since taking office, I’ve worked to finalize, launch, and begin collecting submissions for this year’s NJCL website contest; I’m looking forward to seeing all your hard work this year. I’ve also completed various tasks such as this year’s state officer directory, officer profile forms, and mapping/combing through our NJCL website for reference and maintenance. Connecting with JCLers from just about every corner of the country has been a truly surreal experience, and I can’t wait to reach out and work with you all in the rest of this year!

E corde,

Andrew Cahall

2019-2020 NJCL Communications Coordinator

“CA! CA! CAJCL, Quid!” “Shake your praedia!” “Deep in the heart of Texas:" hearing raucous cheering echo in the Fargodome onstage for the first time as an NJCL officer was one of the most surreal moments of my life. After a week of sleep deprivation, campaigning, and going a little too hard at the dances, I was both exhausted and wide awake. Seeing the joy you all bring to this organization is so inspiring, and I cannot wait to see what else this journey has in store. I have immensely enjoyed being your NJCL 2nd VP over these past few months. After exploring the beautiful University of Richmond (Go Spiders!) I can guarantee that convention this year will be spectacular. The food: top tier. The campus: gorgeous. The people: JCLovely. Beyond spending over 12 hours total traveling from CA to VA for Fall Planning Meeting, I’ve been judging submissions for Club of the Month, creating the National Classics Week packet with your 1st VP Andrew, and planning the spirit themes! Seeing the positive impact JCLers have through service in their local communities always brings a smile to my face. Maximas gratias for your continual good works, adorable photo submissions, and JCLove.
