Salvete omnes! Over the past few months, my main focus has been building connections with state and local 2nd Vice Presidents and fostering participation in Club of the Month. Talking to all of you about your own spirit and service endeavors has been illuminating and inspiring — you all are doing so much in your communities! I've also been involved in planning National Classics Week and creating snazzy promotional content at the University of Richmond in Virginia. After completing the over six-hour journey from California to Virginia, it was more than worth it. Visiting Richmond's campus and working with the NJCL Board to plan convention was my highlight of 2019. I cannot wait to run the blanket-making service project in Richmond's beautiful halls and watch you all process past the campus' bright blue lake and lush trees. In the coming months, I'm excited to finalize the materials for a new community service contest and collaborate with JCLers across the nation to create spirit and service guidebooks!

Salvete, amici! Over the past few months, I’ve spent the majority of my time facilitating and helping Webmasters and CoCos with the NJCL Website Contest. I’ve really enjoyed seeing all of the amazing submissions so far, especially updates in the currency portion of the contest, and I can’t wait to see even more in the coming months.
Going forward, I’m really looking forward to attending the NJCL Spring Planning Meeting, preparing for and organizing the 2020 NJCL Convention in Richmond with your other awesome officers. I can’t wait to see you all there! I’m also looking forward to the publication of the National Classics Week promotional video our NJCL board created during Fall Planning Meeting; I hope you have as much fun watching as we did filming it.
Excited to continue working with you all throughout this year!
E Corde,
