plan anything and that is so convenient for us,”
she said. “The staff members are wonderful, too.
They are so considerate and so much fun.”
Cook also loves the convenience of hav-
ing their trips already planned in advance by
Lifetime Quest.
“They plan the whole trip for you. It is so nice
to get on the bus and not to have to worry about
anything. Where are we going? Where are we
stopping? Where are we going to eat? You don’t
have to think about any of that. You can sit back
and just relax and enjoy the trip,” she noted.
It isn’t just the trips that drew Cook to
Lifetime Quest. Having taught English for
so many years, she enjoys the Reading &
Discussion Group, which she has sometimes
facilitated, and the Arts & Letters Series. She
especially enjoys the fellowship and camaraderie
of the other retirees.
“Lifetime Quest really has enriched my life,”
Cook said, “and I would encourage anyone who
is thinking about joining to give it a try.”

“It has given us the opportuni-
ty to see things and visit places
we never would have been able
to do on our own. We like that
everything is done for you.
They plan out the trip, where
to stay, where you are going
to eat. We don’t have to plan
anything and that is so conve-
nient for us. The staff members
are wonderful, too. They are so
considerate and so much fun.”
