Gifted to Grow, Given to Share Dear people of Trinity, On behalf of the steering team for Trinity’s capital campaign, “Gifted to Grow, Given to Share,” I would like to thank you all for your heartfelt and generous support of the campaign this fall: financially and spiritually, in prayer and in giving. As many said, this campaign was always about more than the dollars raised, and even more than the ministry and hospitality that will be possible through those funds. It was also about being strengthened in our unity in Christ as a congregation, remembering that (as our Rocky Mountain Synod leaders say) “we are Church: better together!” Several of you have asked us to reiterate and clearly explain the different methods that can be used to make financial gifts to the campaign. They are: “Gifted to Grow” Envelopes: Those who receive offering envelopes will find for 2016 special envelopes marked with “Gifted to Grow, Given to Share” that can be used at any time. Please note that any donations given in “Turning Mortgage into Ministry” envelopes will also be automatically directed to the capital campaign, since eliminating the mortgage is one of the projects of the campaign. By check: Checks can be given with or without envelopes: please make all checks payable to Trinity Lutheran Church with “Gifted to Grow” in the memo line. Cash: Cash gifts are certainly welcome; please use an offering envelope if possible or clearly mark the gift as meant for “Gifted to Grow.” Online: On the homepage of Trinity’s website, www.trinitylutheranfc.org, in the black menu bar at the top, click “More…” and then “Give” to be directed to a page with links to give one-time or regular gifts. Credit and debit cards can both be used online. If you need assistance, feel free to contact Debbie Schwartz in the Trinity office at 970-482-1226 for instructions. Stock or investment transfers: Our member Debbie Schilling, a financial advisor at Waddell and Reed (where the funds for the capital campaign are being held) is handling all investment transfers for the campaign. Call Debbie at (970) 416-6078 and she will work one-on-one with you to help you make a transfer. We hope this helps make it easier for you to bless Trinity with your generosity! If you have further questions about any of the above options, please contact Debbie Schwartz in the office at 970-482-1226. If you have questions about the campaign in general, you’re welcome to contact me at the same number, or at [email protected]. Peace, Pastor Gabi News from Thrivent If you are a Thrivent member, your 2015 Choice Dollars can now be designated. If you would like assistance designating your Choice $, Steph Dugger will have her laptop on January 3rd & 10th to help you with the process.
