JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2014
OF THE MONTH
VICTORY IN BARBADOS!
Danielle Gore and Charlotte Clivio were invited to Barbados to compete in a 0.7meter under 12
competition on January 25th and 26th. Congratulations to both girls who rode well and made us proud.
Danielle Gore was champion over the two-day event, and Charlotte Clivio was a worthy competitor,
with a clear round on the first day but was unfortunately not as successful on the second day.

We are hoping to run the second leg
of the dressage series on February
22nd in preparation for the FEI
Dressage Competition taking place
on March 13th, which will be
followed by dressage clinics the
following day. This will be finalised when we have confirmation of a judge.
TAMING THE STALLION
Monika Maitland-Walker will be hosting a horsemanship demonstration at Annandale, and has
invited all to have a picnic and watch. It is tentatively planned for March 3rd.
This will feature German riding instructor Andrea Orth doing a demonstration
ANDREA ORTH
on an untrained stallion.
Videos of Andrea Orth can be seen on
Youtube under ‘Alicenhof’ or on her website
www.alicenof.com. The website is in
German, but if you type it into Google, there
will be an option to translate the page.
