As the new board of the EFJ, we are doing all within our ability to create a positive and noteworthy
year for our horses and riders. We would like to invite anyone who would like to volunteer, (riders,
non-riders and parents) to contact any of us if you would like to help with any events, activities, etc. If
you have any great ideas of how you can help the EFJ, please feel free to get in touch with anyone on
the board. Let’s all work together to help to grow, maintain and build our riding community. It is the
year of the horse, after all, so lets hit the ground running (or for better words, hit the ground, get the
right lead, sit deep in the saddle and keep the canter forward and collected).

BARBADOS HERE WE COME!
The CEA trial for Barbados took place on January
11th at Ponderosa in Bog Walk, and the competition
will take place on February 14th and 15th. The under
16 trial was won by Claire Schwapp of Kingston
Polo Club and the under 14 was won by Annie
Stewart of Ponderosa.
