Karen Johnson Lidral and her
husband Arthur recently moved to
Boise, Idaho. They are expecting
their first child at the end of
October.
Jeremy Lowell is living in
Houston, Texas where he recently
began working for the insurance
company, Association Member
Benefits Advisors.
Erica Sabo was engaged to Robert
Gaynor on April 24, 2010. The
couple met while attending
Providence College. They are to
be married in Portsmouth, New
Hampshire on May 21, 2011.
They are living in Weymouth,
Massachusetts, where they recently
bought a home. Erica is currently
working for the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts and Rob works in
software sales.
EmmyLou Anderson Sharrow
and husband Gerald Sharrow, Jr.
(Kempsville Highschool in VA
Beach Class of 2001 ) welcomed
their first child, AmyLee Michelle
Sharrow, on May 10, 2010. The
family lives in Virginia Beach,
Virginia.
Christina Bowley Wright was
married in March 2004 to Virgil J.
Wright of Biddeford. The couple
moved to Virginia in July 2010 and
had a daughter in June 2007.

Heather Crocker is currently
attending graduate school at
California State University - Long
Beach. She is planning to receive
her MFA in Theatrical Light Design.
She is currently living and working
in Southern California after a
summer working at Central City
Opera in Colorado.
Tony Desjardins and Nicole
Voccia ’04 were married on
September 25, 2010 at St. Albans
Episcopal Church in Cape
Elizabeth. Nicole teaches at Middle
School of the Kennebunks and
Tony appraises real estate for
Appraisals Plus. They currently
reside in Biddeford with their cats
and dog, Rugby.
Candace Goulet married John
Laliberte ’01 in June 2009. The
couple has been spending the past

few years traveling back and forth
from Maine to Europe. Candace
has been working as a sonographer
for the past three and a half
years, doing general and high risk
obstetrical ultrasounds in Maine
during the spring and summer.
She spends the fall/winter with
her husband in Europe. John plays
hockey in the Danish league, and
currently with a team in the DEL

In April, Matthew Haley became
the fifth generation of his family
to take a leadership position at
Haley’s Metal Shop in Biddeford.
He’s the son of CEO Brian Haley
’73 and Sue Whittier Haley ’73 and
nephew of TA Trustee Joyce Haley
’75, the president and treasurer of
the company.
Angella Lunt was married on
September 18, 2010 to Daniel
Hodgkins. Their daughter, Emilie
Jade Hodgkins, is expected on
November 16, 2010.
Alison Pease achieved her
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
from the University of Minnesota
in 2010 graduating as Class
Valedictorian. She earned her
bachelor’s degree in Animal Science
from the Univeristy of Maine at
Orono in 2006 graduating as Class
Salutatorian.
2003
Shannon Stack Beal was married to
Richard Beal in May 2010.
Jeff Christenbury was elected to
the Saco City Council in November
2009. He represents Ward 4, which
covers Ferry Road, Camp Ellis and
Kinney Shores. Jeff graduated
from Boston University in 2007,
went on to host & produce a high
school sports show on WPME-TV,
and recently began working at TA.
Bethany Lowe recently took a
position in the Development
Department at Foxcroft School in
Middleburg, Virginia where she
oversees the school’s Gone Away
section, which is very similar
to Postscripts. Bethany states,
“my work has made me more
appreciative of Thornton and
all of your efforts to maintain
a supportive community after
graduation”.
Amanda Darling Roy and Brian
J. Roy ’03 celebrated the birth of
twin girls, Alexa and Megan, in
February 2010. Amanda is working
as a Middle School Health as a PE
teacher and Brian is working as an
emergency room nurse in Roanoke,
Virginia.
