PulseWallet wants to eliminate PINs and
classic authentication processes that, as we
have seen from the many recent security
debacles, can be duplicated and easily
stolen. Instead, the company suggests that
the future of purchasing lies with bioauthentication, with devices like their veinscanning cash register that uses the vein
pattern in your hand to prevent credit card
fraud. Similar technology is already being
used with ATMs in Brazil and Italy, but has
yet to gain a foothold in the US. (Editor’s

2. NO MORE MISSED PACKAGES
Thanks to jobs with fairly normal schedules,
most people have missed a package
delivery before. With new package delivery
service Parcel, the problem can be avoided
for a five dollar fee. Though the service is
currently only available in Manhattan, Parcel
allows you to schedule a delivery time
between 7 and 11 pm, during which the
company will deliver the package you were
