The Hamas terrorists who attacked Israel on October 7 weaponized rape and sexual violence against their victims . Women and girls were raped . And gang-raped . Breasts were severed . Female soldiers and civilians were sexually mutilated with knives and nails and bullets and grenades . Victims , living and dead , were left exposed and placed on public display . The executive director of the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel spoke of the enduring trauma of survivors of these sexual assaults : “ Many people are looking for the golden evidence , of a woman who will testify about what happened to her ,” she said . “ But don ' t look for that ... The corpses tell the story .”
