Greenawalt Named Dir., Plans And Operations
Tom Greenawalt
Tom Greenawalt, who recently was
named director of plans and operations,
says he enjoys Williamson’s familyoriented nature and working with the
students.
“The students are friendly and reach
out to you and the staff is very welcoming,” he said.
Greenawalt began his career as a
disciplinarian and American history
teacher at Franklin Towne Charter
High School in Philadelphia. He then
served as regional account manager and
later senior regional operation and account manager at Curbside Hospitality
and Parking, Inc. in Beverly, Md., where
he managed all operations for providing
a variety of services to over 100 facilities
nationally.
He then was regulations manager for
the Baltimore City Parking Authority
in Baltimore, Md., and then director
of parking and transportation at Johns
Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore.
Greenawalt grew up in Reading, Pa.,
and graduated from Muhlenberg High
School. He earned a bachelor’s degree
in law at Marshall University in Huntington, W.V., and a master’s degree in
history at Washington College in Chestertown, Md.
An outstanding soccer player in high
school, he played professionally after graduating for six years on various
teams. During this time, he also served
as a soccer coach for several schools.
He lives on campus with his sons Tye,
10, and Cam, 8, and enjoys playing soccer and ice hockey with them.
With an avid interest in history, he
enjoys visiting historical sites and also
has an interest in maps, especially historical maps.
He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys
working out and watching the 76ers.

opportunity to serve and support the
school that changed my life. Since graduation it has been my dream to contribute to the Williamson legacy and pass
on to new generations what I had been
so fortunate to experience in my life. I
have dedicated my whole life to continuous education and committed myself
to the betterment of myself, my family,
and society. In my opinion, Williamson
is the ‘Harvard of trade schools’ and it
will be my mission to make it even better. It doesn’t get any better than Williamson and this fact is proven over and
over again by alumni who are serving
society and instilling values across our
great nation.”
Lallo has been with Boeing since 1979
in the positions of composite technology manager, tool engineering manager,
senior operations manger, and affordability program manager for the V-22
Osprey Program.
He also is an adjunct teacher at Widener University’s School of Business
Administration and School of Engineering.
He earned a bachelor of science
degree in mechanical engineering at
Drexel University, and master’s degrees
in engineering management and business administration and a doctorate
degree in higher education at Widener
University.
Boeing honored Lallo with the Invention of the Year Award in 1991 and 1992
and he served as the Philadelphia representative for the Nationwide Boeing
Executive Patent Selection Committee.
His other awards include the Tri-Service Award presented by the Army, Air
Force, and Marines to Boeing’s MR&D
Department which was under his management for best technical excellence
within Boeing helicopters and the Candidate for Associate Fellowship Award,
an honor given to top Boeing technical
engineers.
