Several regrets about our reunion came in as
follows. Bill Schaeff: Nice to receive the notice
about the reunion and nice to know there are
enough classmates around to have a reunion. I
won’t make it, unfortunately. The fractured hip
has healed nicely, but walking is still very difficult, so no long trip to Pennsylvania for me. I am
doing quite well after all these years and we just
celebrated our 59th anniversary! Congratulations,
you love birds, keep up the good work!
Bob Rupert: Sorry I can’t make it this year, but
I do hope to make Alumni Day.
Harry Binder: Sorry to say we will not be attending the reunion dinner.
Ed Freno: Hi, Donna and Phil. Thank you for
the invitation to attend our class reunion. Carol
and I will not be attending. I will be thinking of
you on this 64th year reunion. It is very difficult
for me to believe it was that long ago. Please give
my regards to all my classmates and let them
know Carol and I are in good health. We hope you
too are in the best of health. Regards, Ed.
May 31: We did not have our usual tailgate
party this year since we decided it would be easier
not to take either Wayne and Marie’s or mine and
Donna’s motor homes since there were no others
scheduled to come. Maybe next year?
June 1: Received a nice letter from Mary J.
Grow. She somehow missed the article about my
stroke and just read it. She hopes I am back as
new. Don’t know what all was affected, but reading the newsletter you must have been spared a
bit, thank God! Since you are still riding the motorcycle, you sure have guts. However, don’t take
any unhealthy chances. Leave the superman stuff
to the kids.
Dear Donna, hello and good luck to you. Keeping Dick just to a calming point must take all
you’ve got.
