Greetings,
I’m still alive and well at the Meadowood at
Worcester retirement facility. I’ll turn 100 years
old on Dec. 21, but there are no classmates left
to help me celebrate. You can e-mail me through
my daughter Carol Lepping at carol_leppingk@
verizon.net.
Regards, Robert “Pop” Ziegler

As time slides by, we become fewer in number. John Kostelac’s daughter sent me the news of
John’s passing on July 14 at home. John loved to
travel and he visited us several years ago. He will
be missed. God bless him!
We of the Class of 1938 are now down to four.
I phoned you of the sad news, but I could not
reach Chester Getty. The phone number has been
changed. Can any of you help me reach Chester?
It was nice to talk with Bill Clark and Len
Point. This will be a brief class report. I hope all
of you will keep well and active. I spend a lot of
time in my woodworking shop and am thankful
for the training Williamson gave me. God bless!

I hope everyone had a great summer. Here at
the farm, it was hot and we really got our money’s worth out of the pool. We had a special treat
— spending time with the family including our
great-grandchildren.
Alumni Day went well, but 4W6 was not as
well represented as we had hoped. Skeek Miller
was the first to sign in and he was most proud of
that, followed by Tom Smiley and Dave Clark. At
9 a.m. the weather did not look good, but by 10
a.m. it was great. The campus is really beautiful
and the students did a great job assisting everyone. We can be proud of these young men.
Bob Huff missed Alumni Day and that was a
surprise as he is always there. He called me to
explain why he missed. We had a good chitchat
and he said he would send me a note for a later
Williamsonian to bring everyone up to date on
what he is doing.
I talked with “Beak” Stokes 4W7 and asked
him how he gets all his stuff for his articles; he
has almost a full page. He said you have to keep
after everyone. So I picked on Bob and he said he
would do it. So, I hope more of you will send me
STUFF. Craig Kilpatrick had this problem. Everyone likes to see class news so send notes for
me to pass along and I will make every effort to
have a class news article.

Warm greetings to each of you from sunny
Sarasota. As always, I wish blessings of good
health and happiness for you and your loved ones.
Grace and I are doing well here in our Florida
home despite a little set-back a couple weeks ago
when Grace had a short bout with coronary heart
failure. It was scary at the time, but a great relief
when her breathing returned to normal. We are
enjoying our summer and wondering how people
survived before air conditioning. It’s been hotter
in many northern areas of the country this summer than down here. I find no problem kee
