MONEY FOLLOWS HARD WORK
AFTER A SUCCESSFUL CAREER IN RETAIL AT DAVID JONES , RAY WHITE BULIMBA SALES AGENT ROBYN HOARE STARTED IN REAL ESTATE AT AGE 63 .
From a standing start , this mother of seven ( and grandmother of 12 ) overcame enormous challenges to qualify as a Premier performer in her very first year of sales .
Her professional career before real estate included decades in the sales and marketing space , and her large family means she understands the importance of achieving the best possible outcome for her customers ’ largest and most valuable asset .
“ While dear friends of mine have retired and are taking wonderful trips , I think they ' re
missing out because I ' ve got things people can ’ t buy ,” she said .
“ I ' ve got a family that truly honours each other , and I just can ' t replace that .
“ My goals aren ' t necessarily based on performance but clearly I ’ m a driven person .
“ I just want to continue to stay authentic and have integrity .
“ And I ' ve always said to my children , that money follows hard work . So don ' t worry about the money . And I hope that continues .”
FAREWELL BENNY ROLLINS
Some 14 years ago at the age of 65 , Benny Rollins joined the Ray White Emerald team on a casual basis . During his time at the office Benny grew his real estate knowledge and his role expanded . Most importantly , Benny became an invaluable and loved member of the team .
Sadly , Benny made the tough decision to retire in March due to ill health and we ’ re sad to see one of Emerald ' s most valued team members and positive contributors to the network go . His contribution and commitment to the Emerald business defies description .
The relationships formed between our members in our businesses is something Ray White Rural values deeply . It ’ s not everyday someone comes into your life so casually but leaves a permanent impression .
" Initially I didn ' t know how Benny joining the team would work for us , but after 14 years on the day he left us , I didn ' t know how we could work without him ,” Ray White Emerald partner / manager Athene Muldrew said .
Benny still has a wicked sense of humour and has been enjoying quality time off . He remains in touch with the Emerald office who are looking forward to celebrating his 80th birthday with him in December .
