Tom prefers short , sharp training like F45 sessions .
TIPS
• I get up at 4.45am and train most mornings as it ’ s less disruptive to life with the family . My kids are usually just getting up when I get home . Afternoon training often gets disrupted with meetings and events .
• On days I don ’ t want to train , I push myself because I know I ’ ll feel better after . I also use exercise to benefit my mental health .
• I ’ m predominantly vegan and have been for the past three years . Ever since I ’ ve gone vegan my blood results have all improved . I used to eat a lot of meat and was told it was vital for athletes and recovery , but I do feel a lot better and feel like I recover better from being vegan .
• With training , you have to do something you enjoy and suits your lifestyle . For me it ’ s something short and sharp which is F45 .
• I also train with friends who I can catch up with and it makes it more enjoyable .
• Sometimes ways to tackle an issue that you haven ’ t thought of yet will often come to you after a session , I think when all the endorphins start flowing you start thinking a bit clearer .

Peter loves to train with a good group of people in the mornings when there are less distractions .
TIPS
• I train first thing in the morning because there are fewer things that will stop me exercising . If I do it at other time of the day , people want me - family , clients , etc ., or I ’ m too busy .
• I always train with a group of good people . I get a lot of enjoyment chatting and joking with these people which makes working out fun and I am more likely to turn up .
• I set my clothes out the night before so I don ’ t have to think about it . I roll out of bed and into my clothes and head off .
• I think you always need to have a reward after you do something difficult to help you build the habit . It might be a juice or a coffee or a walk or even the sunrise for some people . Probably avoid rewarding yourself with croissants or muffins .
• I try to eat well during the week , I do intermittent fasting and then let go a bit more on the weekend .
