CANBERRA SHITBOX RALLY
Ray White Canberra Chief Auctioneer Troy Reddick has completed a trip of a lifetime with his brother Paul , driving a $ 1,500 " shitbox " over some of Australia ' s roughest roads , from Port Douglas to Adelaide , as part of the Shitbox Rally 2023 .
A FUN RUN FOR A GOOD CAUSE
In October , the Ray White Lara office took part in the Lara Fun Run . The event was a resounding success for the team and even the weather was perfect .
The team survived unscathed in their 30 year old Magna , and raised more than $ 10,000 for the Cancer Council along the way .
Highlights of the trip were driving the entire length of the Birdsville Track , and meeting plenty of Ray White members along the way .
CHRISTMAS COMES TO WESTERN SYDNEY
Ray White Quakers Hill - Tesolin Group Associate Director Taylor Bredin is committed to giving back to his community and what better time to make an impact than during the Christmas season ?
Taylor hosted a huge free community Christmas family fun night for the residents of Stanhope Gardens , Kellyville Ridge , The Ponds and surrounding suburbs , where more than 400 people attended . This is the second year Taylor has hosted the fun night and is excited to continue with the tradition .
“ It is a great chance to bring people together in a fun and engaging way and help strengthen the sense of community . It is important to me to give back and show my gratitude to the people who have supported me in my business and I strive to have a positive impact on the local community ,” Taylor said .
The night was a huge success with residents able to access exclusive use of the local Stanhope Gardens Leisure Centre pool , free face painting and balloon twisting , a water slide , inflatable activities , Santa appearances , a DJ and prizes and giveaways . They even had the local Schofields Rural Fire Service crew come out with their truck .
As staunch supporters of the local community , the Ray White Lara team were proud to continue their tradition of endorsing the Lara Fun Run .
The primary purpose of the event was to foster community unity and support local initiatives . All proceeds from the event were directed towards local initiatives and contributing to the betterment of the local community .
Additionally , Ray White Lara Marketing Manager Thonisha Darshini said the run promoted a healthy and active lifestyle by encouraging participants to engage in physical activity and set fitness goals , which has helped bring about long term health benefits for all involved .
“ Moreover , the Lara Fun Run serves as a platform for Ray White Lara to showcase our commitment to supporting the local community and demonstrate our dedication to social responsibility ,” Thonisha said .
“ We are proud to play an active role in strengthening our community and making a positive impact .”
The team also organised a Halloween Colouring Contest for the kids to keep them occupied while their parents participated in the 10km or 5km run or walk .
RUPERT KEMEYS COACHES TEAM TO NATIONAL SUCCESS
Ray White Kemeys Brothers founder Rupert Kemeys coached the Wellington Olympic football team to win the NZFA National Championship , the club ’ s first championship win .
Rupert developed his passion for football at just six years old , and was head coach of Wellington Olympic for the past two years . He has now retired as coach after an epic win at Mt Smart Stadium .
“ So much hard work went in to win the title ,” Rupert said .
“ It ' s an 11 month season in the national league , so it was an amazing feeling to lift the cup and see how proud the players and the supporters of the club were .
“ I ’ m super proud of everyone involved to be crowned the best team in New Zealand .”
