WAHROONGA FOOD + WINE FESTIVAL SPONSORED BY RAY WHITE UPPER NORTH SHORE
Ray White Upper North Shore was the official major sponsor of the Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival on Sunday 30 October . The annual festival is a wonderful community gathering ( that hadn ’ t happened for two years due to COVID-19 ) and this year they had over 130 wines from 30 wineries to enjoy , an array of local produce , and a huge selection of gourmet food stalls offering a variety of international and Australian cuisines .
It ’ s a free community event and over 3,500 people attended at Wahroonga Park . The team was onsite with a Ray White marquee , and handed out Ray White caps , bags , mini cupcakes , a colouring competition for kids , lolly boxes and magazines showcasing properties for sale . They also ran a competition to guess how many jelly beans in our house to win a Vintec wine fridge , receiving hundreds of entries !
IT ’ S ERKO BERZERKO IN ERSKINEVILLE
Ray White Surry Hills directors Ercan Ersan and Shaun Stoker raised $ 34,000 for the Erskineville Public School at the “ Erko Berzerko ” fundraiser put on by the school in October .
Ray White auctioneer James Keenan ( pictured above ) took to the stage to auction a commission free sale of a home on behalf of the Surry Hills directors who were Platinum Sponsors for the fundraiser .
There were two bidders who battled it out neck and neck from the starting bid of $ 10,000 until it reached the sale price . The winning bidders were the sellers of 9 Harrow St , Stanmore which sold for $ 4.1 million on November 12 through Ercan and Shaun .
“ We didn ’ t have a goal in mind for how much we wanted to raise but this was above our expectations . It was the most we ’ ve ever raised at the Erko Berzerko which happens every two years , the previous highest was $ 21,000 a few years ago ,” Ercan said .
“ The school is obviously a big part of our community but my kids also go there as well . It ’ s a great endeavour to help them out .”
