RAY WHITE NEW ZEALAND NETWORK SUPPORTS RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

The Ray White New Zealand network has been a huge supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities ( RMHC ) in 2022 , with many offices getting behind the good cause .
Ray White New Zealand has been a corporate sponsor of the charity for the past 10 years , and is continuing its support this year through the A Little Ray of Giving campaign , encouraging the local community to collect gifts for families staying at RMHC .
As a corporate sponsor , Ray White supported RMHC ’ s latest fundraiser , the Red Shoe Ball , which raised more than $ 250,000 . Ray White New Zealand auctioneer Ben East volunteered his services at the charity auction .
“ Offices also regularly volunteer to cook dinners for families and donate their time to support fundraising events with their auctioneering skills ,” Ray White New Zealand marketing executive Sophie van de Pol said .
“ This year was the first time since the events of COVID-19 that street appeals and events could commence which was a huge relief for us and RMHC .”
Ray White Canterbury was the number one fundraising organisation for RMHC in 2022 , raising $ 15,339 through their House to House campaign .
The team travelled 5,000km via bike , waka ama , kayak and on foot during March to raise money for the cause . Ray White Eastern Group also banded together to support RMHC charities this year , with two separate fundraisers .
They participated in the Night Knights campaign which aims to make dark nights a little brighter for families with children in the hospital , and in August raised $ 2,500 during their Pyjama Day street appeal .
Ray White Eastern Group also hosted a fundraising evening with New Zealand economist Tony Alexander as the guest speaker , and raised more than $ 6,000 .
Ray White Whangamata holds a charity golf day each year , and this year raised $ 23,490 in total for three charities including St Johns , RMHC and Westpac Rescue , with $ 10,745 going to RMHC .
In September , Ray White Pukekohe agent Jonathon Ziesler donated a truck load of toys , kitchen items , and grocery vouchers to RMHC . He and his wife Sarah decided to put money aside from each sale to donate to charity , and decided to gift RMHC with much needed goodies .
