In September , the Ray White Canterbury staff stepped out in support of Lachie ’ s Laces , an initiative started by Kelly Sharpe after she lost her son Lachlan to cancer in June 2020 .
The office sold over 200 pairs of laces at $ 5 each , raising over $ 1000 for the cause . They also donned the laces over 24 and 25 September to show their support .
Lachie ’ s battle against cancer was long and courageous , and the Ray White team felt it was important to raise crucial funds for the Child Cancer Foundation to try to prevent the loss and anguish that has rocked Lachie ’ s family .
Lachie ’ s mum , Kelly , was excited to have the Ray White team on board this year , saying “ their commitment to raising the profile of this new fundraiser , through selling Lachie ’ s Laces in their branches , to seeing the laces worn by their staff and agents in the community , is heartwarming .”
