The Garden Terrace
Dedication
Many of you have observed
the transformation of the barbeque area on the north side of
the Clubhouse. The Garden Terrace is the newest Charbonneau
Country Club amenity; and, we
are happy to announce, it should
be completed by the end of September.
The Oktoberfest/Dedication
event is at capacity, but please
feel free to stop by, at your leisure
,to see the completed project.
Niners CCC
Performance: Roaring
Through the 20s
Each year, Charbonneau’s
9-hole Women’s golf club has an
end-of-the-year banquet for their
members. Several Niners entertain their group by putting on a
production of dance, skits and
music. These productions are
very popular. So, last year we
thought it would be fun to offer
this special brand of Charbonneau
entertainment to the community,
and . . . it sold out!
Needless to say, we are bringing these fun-loving gals back to
the Charbonneau stage for all to
enjoy on Saturday, October 12
at 6 pm at Charbonneau Country
Club.
Please come and join the
Charbonneau Niners in their annual production, this year entitled
“Roaring Through the 20s.” This
is a chance to dig out and wear
all of that 1920 clothing you have
stored in the back of your closet.
The Niners have plenty of merriment to go around and hope you
will join in on the fun.
Plan on having a “roaring good
time” exploring the 1920s as they
delight, entertain and educate you
with this fun-filled romp through
the history, music and dancing of
the 1920s.

The Outgoing Tide
Join your neighbors for this
play written by Bruce Graham,
directed by Stephanie Mulligan
and featuring Tobias Andersen
and Jane Fellows.
It's an outing to Portland for
an evening of live theater and is
planned for Thursday, October
24.
A deluxe motorcoach will pick
us up at the Country Club at 4:30
pm and take us into downtown
Portland, where we will enjoy a
no-host happy hour at The Daily
Grill (adjacent to the Westin Hotel).
Afterwards, our motorcoach
will pick us up and take us to the
Coho Theater, located in northwest Portland, for the 7:30 pm
performance of The Outgoing
Tide.

Come to the CCC Clubhouse
for our annual Wine Tasting and
Sale event, happening on Friday,
October 25 at 3 pm. You will enjoy sampling a variety of wines
presented by Craig Thomas of
Oregon Wines Sales, who will
educate and entertain us with his
extensive wine knowledge.
Craig negotiates with wineries
on price, so we are anticipating
many good values being offered
at the tasting event, just in time
for holiday parties and hostess
gifts!
