Oktoberfest at the
Center
Don’t miss the Center’s annual
Oktoberfest lunch on Wednesday,
October 23 at noon. There will
be musical entertainment and a
delicious menu featuring: Kielbasa, German potato salad, apple
dumplings, braised cabbage and
hot pretzels. Bring a friend and
join us for our first special lunch
of the holiday season.
Lunchtime Lectures
The Center will offer two lectures in October featuring local
attorney Joshua J. Lipps. There
is no charge, but pre-registration
is required. Please call us at 503682-3727 to reserve your spot.
The first talk will be on
Wednesday, October 2 at noon
and will focus on the differences
between a will vs. a trust. Many
people have asked themselves the
question: Which is better, a will
or a living trust? Learn the pros
and cons from an expert and decide for yourself.
The second lecture on Wednesday, October 16 will answer the
question: What happens to my
will during probate? Learn how
your estate is settled during a
court-supervised probate.
Focus on Healthy
Bones and Balance
We are all aware that changes
in bone density and decreased balance can occur as our bodies age.
Fitness Specialist Brad Moore
designs new exercise stations for
the class each quarter, based on
research from the American College of Sports Medicine. Take a
proactive approach to your health
and sign up for the second session
of the fall quarter, beginning on
November 18.
