Science Fair Fun
By Michelle Hollingsworth
Science Fairs are exciting
times for all of those future scientists who want to explore and
examine a wealth of scientific
topics. This certainly held true
for the 2014 AES Science Fair,
which took place on March 19.
Scientists of all ages were eager
to participate in this exciting
event.
The topic was
“Engineering… Discovering,
Designing, and Engaging.” Students in grades K-3 created a
class project and students in 4th
and 5th grade were able to do
individual or group projects. The
science fair was organized by the
AES Science Committee (Stacie
Hardy and Gillis DeWitt were
lead coordinators). Winners will
have an opportunity to represent
AES at the Shelby County Science Fair. Congratulations to all
of the students and teachers who
participated in this year’s Science
Fair.
