First Persephone was crowned queen of Fairytale Forest. Then trumpets sounded a red carpet came down the path to the king’s throne and the prince stood in front of the throne he was holding a golden crown in his hand. The kingsmen escorted Phil to the throne he knelt down with help as to not fall flat on his face. “Phil Wolf, by assuming the role of king, the people would look up to you for help and guidance, you will have to go to war and protect the people do you accept these responsibilities as the new king”, the prince announced to Phil as he knelt down in front of the throne. “Yes I do accept these roles as king and will fulfill them to the best of my abilities as long as I shall live”, Phil announced so that everyone could here him. There was a huge round of applause and cheers rose throughout the square. Phil removed his old battered hat and the former prince placed the crown on his head. The kingsmen helped the new king up and everyone cheered for the new king.
Several months passed and once again great joy came to the kingdom for queen Persephone had just bore a child; a new heir was born. Phil stood by his wife’s bedside while the nursemaid checked the infant wolf pup. “Congratulations your majesties it’s a beautiful girl”, The nursemaid said as she handed the girl to her parents. “Phil dear you pick the name. I had her so you get to name her.” Phil looked at his daughter, she opened her eyes for the first time, he smiled and said to her “hello my sweet little one I’m your father and that’s your mother welcome to our world”, he then thought about a name for her when the sun shone on her he got the idea for her name. “That’s it! Your name shall be Demeter named after the greek goddess of the harvest”, Phil told the baby and his wife about the name. The kingsmen came up to them and whispered “great now how about giving us a male heir”, Phil turned to them enraged he began to yell at them and tell them that Demeter will grow to be a fine heir to the throne and that was the end of the argument. Phil and Persephone looked at Demeter and agreed that she will be a wonderful queen one day. Many brought gifts to the baby princess to celebrate her birth. The former prince gave her a beautiful necklace. He gave it to Phil to give to Demeter when she turned eight years old. “That is very valuable your highness it is known as the Amulet of Avalor passed down by Avaloran kings and queens throughout the generations”,

Phil asked the prince how it got there he told him that it was brought by the wizard Alakazar. Phil turned to Persephone and back to the former prince and he looked at his girl. He smiled and placed the Amulet of Avalor around her neck as she slept.
Several years passed Demeter was now eight years old and was getting ready to be a big sister. “Oh Demeter come here sweetheart and say hi to your new baby brother”, Phil called from his and Persephone’s room. “Coming Papa I just have to finish putting my amulet on”, Demeter called from her room. She got up and sprinted down to her parent’s room and when she got there she saw her mother laying in bed and her father standing next to her bedside. “Demeter sweetie this is Perseus your new baby brother”, Persephone said to her daughter as she held new son. Demeter looked at her baby brother and accepted him as her younger brother. Phil pulled her aside and told her that Perseus would look up to her and to set a good example for him.
Time passed and Demeter was 12 and Perseus was now four years old. Phil stood on the castle balcony and looked to his kingdom and all the subjects that loved him. They would walk by and Phil would wave with a big smile on his face. He noticed a sorceress coming down the castle path and she looked up to see Phil glaring at her from the high balcony. “State your business at the castle at once or face my royal guard!”, Phil shouted as she came closer and closer to the castle. She looked at him and spoke “I aim to take that crown from your head one way or another”. She raised her wand and Phil ran to warn Persephone and his children. The guards tried to stand up to her but she turned them into stone. “My name is Vandetta and your kingdom shall be mine resistance is futile”, she cackled to the royal family as she raised her wand. When Demeter went in front of her parents with Perseus to protect them. “Demeter, Perseus move it’s too dangerous I don’t want to see you get hurt!”, Phil exclaimed to his pups when he saw them jump to protect him and Persephone from any harm. “This is your protection from me? Pathetic! Now King Phil and Queen Persephone let’s see how you enjoy being turned into golden statues, but first your prince and princess!”, she shouted as a beam of light shot from her wand toward Demeter and Perseus. The two grasped each other’s paws and were ready to protect their parents when all of a sudden the amulet lit up and Demeter and Perseus were sealed inside a magic mirror with the amulet put on the back as an embroidery pattern, and the jewel was at the center. Phil grabbed the mirror and tossed it out into the kingdom hoping someone would find it and free them. Vandetta then turned Phil and Persephone into two conjoined golden statues. She took the throne and became queen of the forest.
